We’re starting to plan for our WakeMed Raleigh Campus Farmers Market 2017 season, and we are currently recruiting new vendors.
Our market has a lot going for it and offers a unique opportunity for vendors selling a variety of produce, baked goods and hand-made items.
What makes the WakeMed Farmers Market special?
#1 – It’s locally held & operated.
Our market is held in the main courtyard on WakeMed Raleigh Campus, which is visible and easily accessible for the more than 5,000 employees, 300 volunteers, and thousands of patients and visitors who are on campus each and every day.
#2 – It’s FREE for Vendors.
We do not charge for our vendor space, and we supply a tent and tables – no need to bring your own.
#3 – It’s flexible.
We have the option of moving our market inside during inclement weather or extreme heat. In fact, we moved the market indoors for the entire last half of the season in 2016 due to heat.
#4 – It has a track record of success.
Our market has a four-year track record of success for vendors and is extremely popular with employees.
#5 – It’s well advertised.
We advertise our market on billboards, newspaper ads and internal newsletters and signage systems.
#6 – It has tons of internal support, right on site.
WakeMed Raleigh Campus is like a small city with many support services like facilities, environmental services, food and nutrition services, a bank and much more. These support services make market logistics run smoothly.
#7 – It’s supported by the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle.
We partner with the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle to offer an EBT match for customers from the community.
